HISTORY
Season
13 was the ROTW Wing’s Fourth Full Season as a Wing.
In
the League Season 13 saw Defending Premiers River Plate try to go for a 3
peat of Championship wins but in the end lost out to a very good and strong
Qingdao Zhongneng team looking for their first Premiership win and they got
it.
Okayama
FC again dominated Division 1 like they did in Season 11, and easily gained
promotion back to the Premiership for Season 14, while Harbour View snuck
into the 2nd Promotion place with 2 to 3 rounds to go thus
giving them 3 seasons of straight promotions.
DC
United controlled Division 2 and in the final few rounds fought with
Penarol to be champions but both gained Promotion to the first Division for
Season 14.
Liaoning
Zhongyu finally made it out of the 3rd Division, controlling
that Division right from the start, and Chicago Fire, grabbed the 2nd
promotion place on the last day sending them and Liaoning Zhongyu into the
2nd Division.
Qingdao
Zhongneng made the double with winning the ROTW Wing Knockout Cup. They were too strong for anyone, and look
to be building into a tremendous force.
SC
Corinthians made the upset of the season if not the new century in the
massive Inter Wing Cup by becoming the first ROTW Wing team to win the
Inter Wing Cup. They bet the
favourites Dundee United in the final to take the title.
